It’s all energy February 27, 2007

If everything is energy, the floor, the rain, the ailments and diseases we pick up, then obviously, our thoughts are energy as well. When we focus our attention on something, we generate an energy field, which can start to effect our lives. This has been written about for years and practised by many for eons.
Many books on the subject have been written. Some of these include:
- “It’s the thought that counts “- Dr.David Hamilton
- “Write it down, make it happen” - Henrietta Anne Klauser
- “Ask and it is given” - Esther & Jerry Hicks
I would suggest you read these books and begin to actualise the almighty power of your mind. We all have the power, because we do it every day, without fully realising it.
EFT for golfers February 27, 2007

Golfers ‘Tap’ for Lower Scores, Average 36 Percent Improvement
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 4, 2006 — Between first-tee jitters, the yips, swing faults, and other distractions, golf can be more frustrating than enjoyable. But Ohio golf coach Stephen Ladd shows golfers how to tap on key acupressure points while focusing on golf problems and their scores improve, usually within minutes. The method he teaches is EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques. In his office or on the putting greens of four local courses, Ladd shows amateurs and professionals how to eliminate stress, anxiety, and poor swing habits.
“Most golfers never reach their true potential,” he says. “Traditional positive thinking programs simply do not help, and practice does not make perfect — in fact, practice often makes things worse. But by using EFT, golfers at every level can leave those problems behind, eliminate fear and doubt, and never choke again, ever.”
Ladd recently asked clients to rate their results. “Of the 103 golfers who did so,” he says, “59 reported excellent results, 32 had good results, 10 reported fair results, and only 2 had disappointing results.”
According to Gary Craig, the Stanford-trained engineer who developed EFT, these outcomes are in keeping with the technique’s success rate in all aspects of sports performance as well as the treatment of stress, anxiety, and physical problems. “We’ve been tracking EFT’s results for the last 10 years,” says Craig, “and most practitioners report that over 80 percent of those who try it experience significant improvement.”
In golf, says Ladd, the most meaningful improvement is a reduction of the player’s handicap. “I asked my golfers for their average round before and after learning and applying EFT,” he says. “Of the 31 golfers who supplied these statistics, all (100 percent) reported improvement, and their improvements averaged 36 percent. A few reduced their handicaps by as much as 55 to 75 percent.”
EFT was originally developed to address problems such as stress and anxiety, which are key factors in sports performance. PGA Teaching Professional Dave Proffitt of London, Ohio, says, “My putting was he only thing keeping me from winning several PGA Teaching Professional events. I could sink them all day on the practice green, but never in the big tournaments. My playing partners expected me to reach the par fives in two, but then hang on for par. EFT took care of that in short order. Imagine their surprise when I started draining eagle putts!”
Bill’s approach February 27, 2007

This is how Bill describes his work.
This is the approach that I have developed towards my work as a therapist. I believe that we are more than mind and body – we are spiritual beings on a human journey. Because of this, I feel that when we reach out to help, we must integrate all three elements i.e. Mind, Body and Spirit. I have been practising this approach with it’s spiritual dimension, for a number of years and I find it makes my work much more interesting and - of course – more effective.
Therapy is not about mind control – it is about awareness. As a therapist, the more aware you are about yourself and subsequently your client and his / her needs, the more effective you will be. It comes down to respect – respect for the place your client is in right now, and where he /she would like to be in the future. It is not about your desire for them. Throughout the course, I teach different techniques in which the student learns to become more self-aware and then use these techniques with the client.
I have found throughout the course, the students not only learn about how to be a Hypnotherapist, but also more and more about themselves as people.
One of the requirements I ask of my students is to attend with a sense of fun and curiosity. After all, it is all part of our own spiritual journey.

Life Coaching explained February 27, 2007

Life Coaching enables the individual to take charge of his / her life in a very conscious and positive way.
In sessions, I use mental pictures and metaphors quite a lot.
For example:
If life was represented by a river, and when you reached maturity, you were given a canoe and a paddle. You then have two choices - one, to hold onto the side of the canoe and hope that everything will be okay as it carries you down the river, or, two, take the paddle and start taking control of the direction and speed as you travel. The first choice places you in victim mode - the second gives you a far greater level of control - and is much more fun. Which choice do you make on a daily basis?
Of course there are times in our lives when we need help to:
- make positive changes to our life style;
- make career changes;
- see things from a different perspective;
- overcome relationship problems .
So, when are you going to take hold of your paddle and control your own life??
I can help you - using a range of ‘techniques’ that I have applied to myself to make positive and lasting changes to my life - and they work.
What is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)? February 27, 2007

EFT is a therapy that has it’s roots in Acupuncture - but without the needles. It is used on a wide range of ailments, allergies, phobias, mental blocks and many more issues.
Simply by tapping on selected meridian points and using carefully selected statements or affirmations, a client can relieve / remove / or reduce a complaint - permanently.
I have been privileged to help a great number of clients with their issues, with amazing results. I have used this technique myself on my own issues and have been constantly impressed with the results.

Introducing Hypnotherapy February 27, 2007

Hypnotherapy is a tried, tested, safe and effective form of therapy used throughout the world for centuries. The simplest example of hypnosis is ‘daydreaming’. Did you ever find yourself ‘miles away’ but being aware of your surroundings? Clinical hypnosis is like that. You are aware of your surroundings but your mind is focussed somewhere else.
I have successfully used hypnotherapy to relieve a great number of complaints - for example: Stress management - in work, social stress, personal life management (overloading).
- Sports enhancement - get rid of old habits, overcome fear, improve your performance
- Smoking - my success rate has been very high in this area.
- Feeling low - commonly called ‘Depression’.
- Phobias - spiders, flying, heights, claustrophobia, agoraphobia and many more.
- Weight control - anorexia, overeating.
- Bedwetting - common with young children and some young adults
- Confidence - we all lack confidence at times, but sometimes we need help to raise our ‘game’.
- Self-esteem - similar to the above.
- Anger management - learn easy and innovative ways to release and control anger.
- If you have an issue and would like help, then call me.
